This long-running festival is known for its authentic Delta Blues lineup each year. It hosts local, regional, national and international Blues performers over a two-day weekend. The festival, which is sponsored by the Sunflower River Blues Association and the Delta Blues Museum, is free to the public and is held every August at the Delta Blues Museum stage in downtown Clarksdale. The festival and its Blues workshops and seminars attract thousands of visitors from around the world each year.
