Ground Zero Blues Club

The lively Ground Zero Blues Club takes its name from the fact that Clarksdale is “ground zero” for the Blues. Few will argue that the music genre started right here. Ground Zero was created to embrace and celebrate the area’s rich musical heritage and to provide a showcase for its continuing legacy.

Ground Zero is located on Blues Alley, next door to the Delta Blues Museum. Live music is featured weekly and performers include local as well as national musicians. Meals are also available and include everything from plate lunches to fried catfish.
