It features a life-size wax figure of Blues great Muddy Waters and the famous Muddywood Guitar. Stovall Plantation was the original home of Muddy Waters’ cabin, but the cabin is now located inside the Delta Blues Museum at the beautifully renovated Freight Depot on Blues Alley.

Many of the greatest bluesmen came from the MS Delta. Musicians such as Robert Johnson, Charley Patton, Son House, Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, John Lee Hooker, and Ike Turner were all part of an incredible musical legacy. They helped to create a musical style that has influenced both music and musicians ever since. For this reason, The Delta Blues Museum is a mecca for Blues fans from around the world.
